Every week I'll be sending a message to the top hotels in the UK to suggest improvements. If any of these comments are taken on board I will be the happiest guest they'll ever serve.

Message to The Nare Hotel, Cornwall
Dear Sir/Madam/proprietary type,
I have been reading your literature and cannot find any confirmation that Smarties are served to guests in crystal dishes upon arrival. Before our imminent stay I would like to take this opportunity to confirm this with you and to suggest the service should it not currently be available. I realise that olden day Smarties contained a number of e-numbers, however I have been reassured by the company that this is no longer the case.
I thank you for taking the time to investigate this matter and look forward to your reply at your convenience. I can also suggest Veryan and Portloe Stores as an adequate source of the confectionery should you not have made a recent purchase.
